Sony will merge its phone, camera and home entertainment businesses

Sony is hiring its three electronics divisions, Sony Mobile Communications, Imaging Products and Solutions and Home Entertainment and Sound. From April 1, Sony will merge these divisions with Sony Electronics Corporation. Consumer cameras, phone business, TV and home audio hardware will all be controlled by the same company. The change aims to better integrate different but one product and make the company more functional.

In addition, the global sales, marketing, manufacturing, logistics, procurement and engineering of these three divisions will be one place where these departments will work better and generate more profit for the company.
Sony Interactive Entertainment, which develops PlayStation consoles and games for it, will continue to operate as an independent company. Makes tools that will work differently. Sony's music and film, medical and financial divisions are also not being restructured.
